Approved Guides Association was founded in 1993 with aims to spread awareness about professional Tourist Guides. To further study of history, architecture and India’s vast cultural heritage and to save guard the interests of tourists and professional guides alike. Since its inception, association organized seminars, workshops and lectures of eminent scholars in the field of archaeology, history and culture.
Association’s membership has grown multifold in last 20 years from 40 members to 270 + .
The mission of Approved Guides Association, Agra is to spread awareness about Approved Guides and to provide complete and correct information to every visiting tourist.
Approved Guides Association of Agra will build its legacy of leading guide ethics, setting standards for tourism industry to serve as the premier voice for the core values of guiding profession.
